- BES - Benefits Eligibility System
- major subsystem of PMIS where health benefits records are maintained on all eligible
employees, employee dependents, and participating retirees. Eligibility
data is passed to the health care providers and the prescription drug
provider to maintain their membership systems for claims processing.
- e-480 - Web-enabled workforce planning tool that
queries current employment data.
- e-Trans - Web-enabled workforce planning tool that
queries transactional data that affected current employment data

Information Survey
- HuRMan -
Human Resource Management
- Internet portal to workforce information for the Commonwealth of Virginia. It's a web interface to a central repository of human resource information for the state of Virginia's employees.
- OEES - Office of Equal Employment
Services - DHRM Office that administers a comprehensive program to ensure equal employment opportunity to applicants for state employment and state employees concerning all privileges and conditions of employment.
- OITECH -
Office of Information and TECHnology
- Known as ITECH, this DHRM Office is responsible for creating technologically advanced systems and efficient infrastructure capabilities to enable timely delivery of accurate and consistent employment information throughout the
Commonwealth.
- PDAS -
Personnel Data Analysis
System - used by agencies that require information not found in the standard PMIS reports.
It is a legacy on-line interactive system entirely controlled and manipulated by the user
agency producing specialized reports to meet internal management information needs.
- PMIS -
Personnel Management Information
System - legacy on-line transaction-based system that contains employee and benefits records of all active and separated employees for the executive
branch, higher education faculty, and employees of certain agencies exempt from the provisions of the
Personnel Act, such as the State Corporation Commission and the Virginia Workers' Compensation
Commission.
- RECRUIT -
State's job posting system that combines PMIS data with data provided by
agencies to produce descriptions of vacant positions for which the state is
currently recruiting.
- WORKFORCE
PLANNING TOOLS -
Web-enabled tools that provide the capability for authorized users to access their Agency’s data repository and
assess, query, analyze, and report population attributes based on single or multiple criteria.
